Yes, for a day there is a link with a zip download for the full release of the game, available to the masses for 24 hours, then the link, as well as the ability to activate expire. As long as you fully install the game in that 24 hours, it lasts forever, just no free tech support.(which is rarely needed)
It like going to the store and they're giving away free Wiis, assuming that they have an endless quantity, if you don't get the Wii to your house in 24 hours the Wii disintegrates.

The site does this by "advertising" these games, so don't expect to see Halo or something of that sort which is already well known :P
But I have tried these games and they are good, just look at the comments to see if they are good.
