Okay, guys. What animes have you watched in your lifetime, and which ones would you personally recommend to others?

Here's my list:

Cardcaptor Sakura



A fun series following the exploits of a young girl as she tries to return a series of magical cards to the book from whence they came. Sure it's a little kiddie, but it's fun while it lasts for all 70 episodes. Heck, you might even shed a tear or two at the end.

Trigun



A somewhat amusing western-style anime chronicling the life of a man notorious for apparently leveling entire cities without killing a single person, even though all he wants is "love and peace." A fun romp if you enjoy a little action.

Elfen Lied



By far the most impressive 13 episodes of anime I have ever seen. Elfen Lied tells a truly heartbreaking story centered around a young woman who's life has been riddled with pain, suffering, even torture. The series follows her terrible fate as well as her attempts to stifle her rage against humanity, or rather, inhumanity as she struggles to come to grips with her forgotten past. I recommend that this anime be viewed by everyone, as it is very touching and offers a very big slice of life. I've watched it through twice since I downloaded it 2 days ago. The most amazingly beautiful show I have ever seen.

Ok...ALL of the Dragonball Series, Naruto, Kiddy Grade, YuYu Hakusho.
Dragonball includes lots of fighting, love it.
Naruto has memorable characters and fighting.
Kiddy Grade SOUNDS kiddish, but it has lots of guns and a good storyline.
YuYu Hakusho is a great show with a decent storyline and creatures.

26 eps. A girl (Tohru Honda) is living in a tent on her own... until she is invited to stay at the most popular guy in her school, Yuki Sohma, and the Sohma family. It's funny when Kyo comes. :P Type: Shojo (anime/manga intended for girls 10-18... don't let this discourage you, though XD)
Black Cat
A guy (Train Heartnet) is an assasin for an organization, 'Chronos'... man, it's hard to say something without spoiling up to episdoe like 5... But, there's also another guy, a sweeper, named Sven... XD Anyway, Type: Shonen (intended for boys of 10-18.... I still watched it, though...)
Ouran High School Host Club
Haruhi Fujitoka is a new student at a school for the rich, only getting in on their smarts. Soon enough, they end up breaking a vase when looking for some quiet! Now, they must serve in a club for entertaining girls at this school- the Ouran High School Host Club, filled with (hot :P) guys. It's very funny. Type: Shojo (I've known for boys to like this, though...)
Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha
Similar to the CCS, with 3 series to it (Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha, A's, and StrikerS) Type: Magical Gril Shojo
Things that I would Discourage

One word: Boring!!!!!! Extremly!!!!!!!!! It's about this one guy and he turns into this theif.... etc etc etc....Type Shojo

Yeah, after watching Elfen Lied, I don't know were I should turn for my next anime fix. Elfen Lied was the most perfect, amazing anime I have seen, and nothing else I've watched can even come close.

Are we supposed to put ALL of the anime that we've seen even though we haven't finished a series of it?

I just finished watching D.Gray-man (well, there's new ones each week, but.. XD)... I don't know how to follow-up to that anime... it was good... too good. O_O I loved it... .hack//sign is good... but everytime it gets good, it kinda just lets us back down to a boring part... D.Gray-man was awesome though.

I'm trying to finish downloading the first Tenchi Muyo! series, but it's hard to find. After I do, I'll watch the Universe and In Tokyo series. :lol:
