Game: Geometry Wars: Galaxies

When I first booted up Geometry Wars: Galaxies I was expecting something similar to the XBOX360 Arcade version I played at a local store. I was surprised, a lot of things had changed. For one there were new enemies and numerous amount of new stages. Enemies, such as the mutator, which made the game a lot more interesting in the later levels. Gameplay was spot on especially with the Wiimote everything is pretty accurate, there were times where it felt like I was aiming in a different spot then where I intended but it didn't bother me all too much. (Besides, you can use the classic controller for you analog junkies.)

The graphics of GWG was pretty much what you saw in the X360 version. (the title screen's 3D galaxy is impressive tho) What amazes me tho is that even tho the resolution is toned down to 480p, unlike most X360 players with original GW with an HDTV, it still looked really damn smooth!

The new multiplayer is also very fun to play, with co-op and competitive included! Basically, THIS GAME IS ADDICTIVE and you will play anywhere you see it, if only for a second. (Especially with the option to download Retro Evolved to your DS.)

This game reminds me of Paper Mario's space because of the epic squares and bright colors.

When is this gonna be out? Better be on DS.
