I'm stunned, This game is absolutely perfect. Super Mario Galaxy is wonderful from the first moment I popped in the disc. I you don't own it get it now, even before you read my opinion. Anyways... On with the review.
Graphics: The best on Wii, and overall the best in gaming artwise. The game has everything you'd expect in next-gen technology. Reflection, Refraction, Bloom, Edge Glow, Shading, Transparencies, etc. And it all runs SMOOTHLY at 60fps.
Sound: The best Mario tunes in ages. All the music done with full orchestra. Even small sounds such as Mario jumping and Goomba being jumped on are all simple and great.
Gameplay: Super Mario 64 on steroids comes to mind... it's just great everything runs smoothly! Controls are reactive and feel very good.
Multiplayer: Not much here... a small psuedo Co-op mode keeps you interested and it's actually kind've fun, even for the player who isn't being Mario.
Flaws: Very small amount here... The camera is great in the game, but every once in awhile you'll end up in an undesirable position. I also ran into a bug where Mario fell off the galaxy as if there is one direction of gravity in a stage filled with gravitational pull of planets... Also there was a bug where Bowser flies of into space in which I had to restart the level manually. Other than that this game is perfect.
Overall: This is a great game and if I talked any longer I would go on forever about how great a game this is. Enjoy it.
Recommendation: Buy It NOW. :finish:
